always problems with orders and missing items. the prices are far more expensive, and they lack any of the deals you get from going to the location. It helps for when you want to get something for someone else but it's an extremely expensive alternative to just making the trip yourself. I would suggest atleast trying to keep up with the on-site deals and prices.

the app makes it hard to cancel an order. Also I have had many issues throughout my experience with the individuals doordash employs. From dashers being rude, not following instructions in the notes, and orders being dropped off in the wrong place. The app also does not have an option to put a prefered language. I personally don't speake any other language than English and most times my dasher calls and does not speak English. there is texting in the app but it's hard to find/use.

Edited review. Signed up for dash pass for that 60% off 3 orders. It only lasted a total of 3 days. I was suppose to order Doordash 3 days straight, unbelievable. It didn't look like the email had any end date. Until I looked closer and found that the fine print was ALL the way at the bottom WAY under the doordash's contact information. I'll probably get customer support here saying, "read the fine print" but I shouldn't need to do that. I sometimes pay for Uber pass, Doordash, not anymore.

Terrible. Dashes don't communicate, food isn't hot when delivered, food isn't placed Ina good place. No picture confirmation and when my food wasn't there they denied refund. There was no notification of my food here. This is why I don't use This service. You cannot modify or cancel orders within a certain time period or change tip if the Dasher doesn't follow instructions. There's a reason why there's a lot of deals on the app. Because of the poor experience.

I think the Dashers are great. They do very well. The problem I have is that to delete your account on this app is like jumping through hurls. Most apps have the option to delete an account right from the options. On this app you need to go to your settings then go to frequently asked questions, then talk with a support representative to ask them to delete your account for you which is absolutely ridiculous. I also do not like that you cannot remove a credit card without needing add another.

If you're semi - or totally home bound, this becomes one of the helpful apps. Occasionally, mistakes are made by everyone (vendor, driver, and customer), but it all seems to work out in the end. When that happens, CS has been pretty good in compensating for loss. The app falls a little behind the usage curve in grocery inventory in providing items that occasionally aren't in stock. The "substitution" process can get kind of nuanced even with good drivers - but it can work.

I recently had a disappointing experience with DoorDash and their DashPass service. My partner and I were putting together an order, and when I went to place it using my DashPass account, I was shocked to find that the total was two dollars more expensive than when my partner attempted to order without DashPass. As someone who has been paying for DashPass for quite some time, I expected to see some benefit or discount applied to my order. However, it seems that DashPass offers no real advantage

It's become something of an industry standard now to hold a free trial hostage behind an uncancelable auto-renewal agreement. And every app knows very well that a substantial percentage of users will forget to cancel when the trial ends. I contacted support and got my money back, but all I can say is this is sickening, seedy and predatory. Enough already.

They will frequently forget parts of your order, with no options to have them bring you those items. There are options for refunds, but the refund you receive won't cover half the cost of ordering that item another time to have it brought. Not the best model when orders are often for multiple people and if that item isn't delivered, someone is going without if it isn't re-ordered. There should be an option to refuse a refund and have forgotten items brought to you.
