I downloaded the free version. GREAT looking calculator - just like the handheld device I used to use - very simple. But then I saw the adverts - and decided that £1.59 to upgrade was clearly worth paying. So I clicked the upgrade to 'ad-free' version in-app and paid for it. HOWEVER the adverts were still there! So either the upgrade isn't actually ad-free - or it didn't actually upgrade. So I contacted the Play Store - and they arranged a refund and I will uninstall the app. BUT I will have to repurchase the app as the full version directly from the Play Store and see whether that gives me the ad-free functionality that I'm looking for. So, Developers: please can you investigate why the in-app upgrade doesn't work? I am extremely disappointed that I have to go through so much messing around to get this app to work. I will review the full-fat version once I have it up and running.

I find your app excellent; straight forward and easy to use with a broad spectrum of functionality for a variety of tasks. What I also appreciate is the adverts. It's a genuinely nice change to not be accosted by intrusive ads. These not only turn one off the product being advertised but also the app. Much more inclined to buy products shown within the app and promote the app itself when presented in this way.

I like it but wish for better sizing options. (On my Chromebook or DEX display). When it comes on it covers a HUGE amount of the screen. It is about the size of a browser such as google chrome. I then resize it to fit in a lower corner of the screen. Yet when restarting the calculator later it will be HUGE again. If sizing was an option I would be happy to purchase the app.

It's literally a calculator. There should be no ads. Figuring out where the exit button is (and it's in a different place every time) consumes brain power. By the time I'm back to the calculator I've forgotten what I was about to do. I can be in a perfect flow state, going through equations, but these new ads mess it all up. They throw something into the spokes of my bicycle. It's evil. Find another way to make money, your product is unusable in it's current state.

What happened? This was a convenient calculator...but now the amount of ads are insane! Whenever you use the history feature the majority of the time you are hit with a long ad when returning to the calculation screen. This slows the process and makes this app very user unfriendly. I have since uninstalled this app. I got tired of reading the same response to your 1 reviews. I loaded the Samsung Calculator...it's excellent, has the same functionality but a lot cleaner and ABSOLUTELY NO ADS!

Since I always plug in my ratios upside down, I would like a 1/x key. I can use the Memory in a pinch, and I always have to. Also, wanted a quick easy calculator. But every time I open it, it takes 10 seconds for the advertisement to finish loading before the app becomes active. How about rewriting it so the app works immediately, and let the ad shows up whenever it wants to? The tiny little ads aren't a problem otherwise.

This is the one I chose to be my go-to calculator after trying many others. It has a perfect user interface, elegant in its simplicity. The UI looks like a real hand-held calculator. The memory functions are readily accessable and swiping them to the right/left reveals advanced functions like square and square root, etc. Perhaps equally pleasing is the minimumally invasive amount of real estate used for advertising. This little gem works for me.

The BEST I've ever found. !!! Just the the old fashioned ones...you can look at all the calculations you've done. 6 stars !!! I have just downgraded from 5 star to 4 star. I almost made the leap to pay for no ads until I saw another review about the "x-ray's appearance. Until that gets fixed, I won't purchase. How long do we have to wait for the next update for the developers to fix this problem

I need it only for basic math, but it does have the higher function. I love the large keys, and that I can keep a running account of grocery item, and switch back and forth to and from my grocery app. It will keep a running account of costs without losing losing my last entry. The app my phone came with would not do that, so I searched out my old favorite that I had on my tablets. To the designers of this app: please do not change a thing. IT'S PERFECT!
