The app lacks stability. There are often connection problems even with 5 bars of Verizon service. Arming and disarming sometimes takes forever. The voice control feature is good, but the arm/disarm process sometimes takes forever. Sometimes I need to close and reopen the app to get an accurate status reading. When disarming I find sometimes it doesn't show disarmed, but if I close and reopen the app it does. More problems today. It's functiong worse since the last update. Just sad. Fix this!

App is not stable. Takes a long time to set my alarm through the app. Shows a sensor needs to cleared when this is not showing up on the panel. Problems communicating with the panel. 3 years later App continues to crash all the time. It will work for a week and then start not working again. I don't recommend this app. Looking for a new alarm system.

This app is so very poorly developed. Very slow to connect and have to try to connect multiple times to the arm the alarm. Then I get an error message saying it was not able to connect, but armed the system. The system shows unarmed when in fact it was armed or vice versa. Have had to physically check the keypad as the app is hardly ever correct. Our video system works in real-time and we do not have many issues with it. Thankfully it is not using this app.

This app has been giving me problems for the last month. Use to work fine with a few glitches but now it takes a long time for it to connect to the alarm. You're pretty much opening the door and disarming it on the actual panel before the app even connects. Even if you're not on WiFi (just regular data) it still takes long to arm and disarm thru the app. Also since the last update the app has been crashing.

Terrible system! Would not recommend to anyone. My builder recommended this installer and system. It has never worked great. I have uninstalled app and reinstalled a number of times, sometimes it would work. For the last several months, it will not let me Arm/Disarm at all remotely. The tech has looked at it several times, thought it was problem with my internet, had Verizon check out everything and even had them install a new router/extender. No luck, will be switching to a new alarm system!

This app is c@#p, and it has been for years. It routinely tells me that it can't communicate with the security system even though the system has in fact been armed or disarmed (and I have received the SMS and email notifications in confirmation). Then I have to complete a "force stop" and clear the app cache to get the UI to show the actual status of the system. Very frequently, it will take forever to complete a log-in which seems to have nothing to do with network conditions.

About 90% of the time this app fails to connect to the system and won't allow remote access. It is 100% guaranteed to fail when you want to remotely disarm your system for an urgent reason. On top of everything else it asks you to evaluate it with unbelievable frequency with no option to opt out. i am paying for the pleasure of accessing this unreliable service. Deserves zero stars, not 1.

This app is frustrating. By the time I get it to open I could have set from inside, go out to my car make a few calls and leave my house and get to highway before it opens. This is not all the time but often enough. Sometimes it will open and state there's an error and shut down. Then I log back in and the alarm was set. I'm going to start using the remote instead. I don't use it now because I can't hear if the remote actually set the alarm from my driveway.

I'm at a point where withholding my review about TC 2.0 will be doing a disservice to others. I will give it a 1 out of 5 because that is how often this app might actually work.....1 out of 5 times. Our security provider kept blaming it on our cellular carrier. Even with new phones and new carriers it works poorly at best. "Taking a bit longer than expected" is the common error message I get...and this is while standing in the house 1 foot from the control board. In my garage, with or without wi-fi....It gives same results. We've had every carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and even Google Fi) all with similar results. So, I know for a fact it's not the carrier. It's that app. It's a good concept, but in my mind it's not ready for prime time with Security Central.
