I really dislike the newly updated version of this app- it is now a pain to use. Sirius has unnecessarily complicated the process of even starting any music/ selecting a station. It takes far too many clicks to get the selected station open on your screen. The worst problem, however, is now one third to half of the songs overplay the last 30 or more seconds of the previous song- no transition, fade, or otherwise- just obnoxious noise.

I'm not a fan of the recent updates. When my phone screen goes dark while listening, the app will skip a song if I receive a notification from a different app on my phone or if I try to tap my phone to get the lock screen to turn on. It used to never do that. I miss being able to see which artist or song I'm listening to without it registering as a song skip, and then I can't go back. I couldn't even find anything in the settings to avoid this.

Updating review - I noticed the last positive review was in October. This revised app SUCKS. The old version was easy to use. Library/Channels out of order. I removed sonething from the library by accident (swiping) and have no idea what it was and no option to undo. It used to search easily, not now. I listen to a lot of talk radio; used to be able to scroll through the program and see who the guest was so you can land on that segment. It's not there anymore. Please bring the old one back!

New app is awful. I can't organize my channels, I can't listen to special programs "anytime" I want bc they frequently don't work, I can only see song and artist playing if on landscape mode (whose does that?) and when I select a different channel the song from the previous channel is still playing. I will be ending my subscription soon. BTW, the send us feedback option doesn't work either.

I bought a car, it came with SiriusXM. I started paying after the trial period. Good luck getting anything to work. The service is a total ripoff if you're only planning to use the app. Casting is broken, plus several other minor issues on version 7.1.x. I don't think I can justify paying for it anymore. Although it still works fine in the car, the Android app is horrendous. Edit: of course I've already sent feedback within the app. Even the feedback workflow is a terrible, clunky experience.

Update 20 January 2024. Latest update is a disaster. Gone are favorites, now called library. In reality it's a constantly changing list of most recently selected channels. Hard to navigate. Four clicks needed to find sleep timer versus one on previous version. Crashes at least once a day. Screen hangs with the play button not functioning. Horrible. Pixel 7. Original review: good app. well organized, stable, no crashing, no issues logging in.

What did you guys do? You removed almost every single feature that everyone liked and those that aren't removed are way worse. Nothing is organized well now, the favorites page is now barely that and is unusable. It's difficult to find the content you want. It no longer has an easy go back and forward button. It doesn't save my progress on shows anymore. I need way more clicks just to find play the live Howard show. I'm a QA manager and it's like nobody tested this for usability. Horrid.

The latest update has been bad for talk radio listeners or listening to anything live. The ability to jump small intervals was removed so you either have to seek by dragging the time bar which can make you jump around by tens of minutes or you are out of luck. Also, 9 out of 10 times if I stop listening to a show, next time I open the app it starts at the beginning and I have to once again drag the bar and try to remember where I left off. Very frustrating.

Very quick response with instructions to reinstall. It's good to have the skip feature. Sometimes I touch the screen and it goes crazy, like scrolling madly. Still not sure if I can access shows from earlier in the week, or just yesterday's. New app update took away the ability to skip 15 seconds forward or back. If I miss something on a podcast, I have to go back a whole segment if I want to hear it. Also, I used to be able to find episodes from a few days ago, not just the most recent one.
