Beautiful app with lot's of potential but missing a few critical features. GOOD: The toggle switch for light vs. dark is brilliant! The overall design is beautiful. The rendering of emails is excellent (clear, easy to read, loads quickly.) BAD: I cannot figure out any way to assign labels to emails. Cannot customize swipe actions (left is delete, right is unread/read with no other options or choices.) These are two major missing features that lose stars.

Would have been my favourite mailing app on Android, except for one thing missing. That would be an AMOLED–dark (high contrast/pure black background) UI mode. The dark mode in Yandex Mail app feels too light to me, with its grey background putting strain on my eyes in the dark. Frankly, the only reason I'm still using Outlook app over Yandex Mail is their much darker high-contrast, AMOLED-friendly dark/night mode. I also noticed mail from my gmail account won't refresh for hours in YM sometimes.

I love that this app has a "disable ads" switch, even though they're really aren't any ads. I find the app very clean and easy to use. Everything is well placed. A lot of people have never heard of Yandex. Keep this quality up and that will change. If I had one small gripe, it's that sometimes in emails it thinks shipping tracking numbers are phone numbers, and when I click them, it opens the phone app instead. Small gripe for an overall solid app. This is a solid email client. Light but very capable. Highly recommended.

I'm glad I gave this one a try. I desperately wanted an email app with a nice interface and no hidden agenda — and then I tried this. Like other Yandex products, this is a great service without doubts. It's light, fast, easy to use and to keep organized, has a nice interface and great features. Oh! And no intrusive ads. The only thing it's missing for now are the desktop features to design your email (italic, color, link, etc.) inside the app. Still, it's great. You should check the app, try it!

The app is quite good that it lets you manage multiple email accounts from various services. Plus point: Able to opt-out of the ads. Though if it would be nicer if the app doesn't download the avatars of my accounts very time I launch the app. Instead, it should cache the avatars and load them from there. In that case, the loading speed would be faster and save some data for the user.

I used to like this app, I could switch between all my accounts for work etc. With ease but somethings changed. I can no longer log into ANY account because it requires this thing where you enter the text shown in a photo, I've literally tried over and over for the past 20 minutes. I know I'm entering it correctly. And it says incorrect and keeps me going. There is no way I've gotten it wrong every single time, and I cab read the text it is not wrong. Fix that, and I'll change my rating back.

By far and away the best free email account out there, and the top search engine too boot. No problems, excellent service, fantastic free instant translation support, only problem is that Yandex gets periodically barred by other apps, government sites, etc. A case of jealousy, or following ridiculous rules, but Yandex is still a clear leader on free email, search engine, reverse photo lookup and translation.
