This app is been crazy and degrading its self ,when you text in a seconds and the next second it is blocked and requires to take an action keep loosing useful info and other important chats ,this app is really frustrating and for me i am deleting this app Mabye when this issues have been resolved you can send me a mail or notifications via dream cause this app really had made me lost thousands bucks ,and it keeps blocking and blocking and keep loosing friend and business partner loosing info to

App has become basically unusable. Lags on loading messages, messages that I've sent get hung up and sometimes just don't send at all. Attaching pictures flat out doesn't work anymore, they just disappear. Why does Google continue to break everything that they offer? What was wrong with Hangouts? edit: the link Google provided below walks me through doing everything that my original review says I've already tried. Did it all over again anyway, and the app is still just as broken.

Google Hangouts and it's previous iterations was far better than Google has let this become. Notifications frequently don't work, the mini browser that opens all links (overriding my default browser selection) is functionally deficient, and the delay while sending messages is unbelievable. The team somehow expects enterprise users to treat this as a reliable piece of software when it's anything but.

Is a good app but I can't set a notification sound for my second account on settings is frustrated me at the point of delete it again! How can you help me set a notification sound and how I know someone is sending me a message if the app doesn't give me options to hear it sound?? Very frustrated

A simple messaging app, but the biggest flag is that it only sometimes gives me mobile notifications. When it doesn't, it waits a whole calendar day then sends me an email saying this person "messaged you while you were away". There are no app settings to disable this so 100% of messages give me phone notifications, and I searched online for this, found no solution. So, if you need an app that is reliable, consistent, good for urgent contacts, this is not for you.

While there is a feature to customize notifications, it doesn't distinguish between a message and a call on Google chat. We can't have a different ringtone if someone calls us on the chat, furthermore it only rings as a message which we might miss.

Google Chat is slow, it's glitchy, it has a habit of failing to deliver messages for minutes to hours. It also refuses to make a notification sound if additional messages are received, meaning if I miss ONE message I will not receive any additional notifications. I have only refrained from switching messaging apps due to inertia. do not use this app if you have a choice.

This app went from amazing to good to bad. It was perfectly fine at first but now it is very annoying and frustrating. I can't have an account for more than two days without it getting reported. This is an issue that has been over looked by the company. Instead of an apology, look into my case. As far as I'm concerned, I don't know why you keep on reporting me. You accusations aren't adding up. Maybe try fixing this glitch and your app. I can't communicate anymore, it is so restricted. Change.
