Works EXACTLY as advertised! Even the free options are more than enough to close those pesky apps. I needed something to close apps that 'continue to run in the background' EVEN after I did a force close.. for example Instagram! I would FORCE close it and it would start back running an hour later. With KillApps + my custom list, it gracefully closes all running apps I put in this list! I definitely see a big difference in battery saving. Finally some developers who know what they are doing!

Well I gave it a fair shot after buying it.. so I turned off the Samsung text-to-speech engine and it seemed to work sort of but then later on it started popping back on again so I turned it off again and turned on my William TTS engine and then later on Samsung text-to-speech engine started up again so, I gave it a fair shot and it just doesn't keep this particular system app turned off all the time so it's just not going to work out for me. By the way, this is a Samsung emerge Android phone that I've been speaking of so when it works for this particular phone and this particular problem then that might be another story to keeping it.

Prior to that, I was trying to close all the apps including those that run in the background manually, but the battery still drains faster than I thought. But now with KillApps (incl. the one I upgraded to Pro version), I can close all the apps in just one click. I can go from -1% in 2 minutes to 5 minutes because of this powerful app. It looks fantastic! Now am confident to use my phone longer without having to charge it more.

Reformated my phone and now needed an easy to use app that closes all those pesky apps that remain open in the background, because those are a battery drain. Found this app and love it. There's one button you press, poof... it closes all user-installed apps. You can mess with the other settings for a deeper closing, such as system apps, but I don't use those because I simply want to close the apps that I opened up that day, for example. I highly recommend this app.

Nice idea.. small file size and visually pleasing. As most "app killers" almost all of these aren't True running apps. About 90% is just running processes and services required for push notifications and updates. In a matter of minutes, the services will auto-start again anyways.. I would like to just close live apps shown in the list when tapping the recent button. This actually even leaves recent apps active in the list.

I needed an app that would let me take charge of numerous apps etc. running in&out of background on my phone.... The stuff that slowly drains & (more permanently) kills my battery. I wasn't going to let TWO batteries be destroyed early and unnecessarily & knew such an app would help me avoid the second time. It's a lightweight program that does exactly what I wanted it to do, without doing anything else. If more people understood their phones, almost everyone would use KA all the time.

This is a very good and important App which should come pre-installed on all Android gadgets. Perhaps the only annoying drawback is that the App always asks to re-enable the Accessibility settings on each its update; and it automatically kills (disables) Secure Startup on my phone. So I have to reconfigure (re-enable) the Secure Startup settings again and again after enabling the Accessibility permission. • I will dedicate my 5 ★ to this App if this problem is resolved. Thank you!

This is my favorite app. Once I figured out which apps to add to the exception list, all I need to do to shut off invasive apps that stay running that shouldn't, I just hit the arrow and those apps are turned off. For the phone I use for a navigation device, this app helps me keep stuff shut off and works great. My battery really does last almost twice as long on all my devices now. You gotta try it to understand just how many apps you aren't using that chew up battery and data.

I love the fact that you could kill your background apps when you need to... I would prefer to turn them off when I charge my phone at bedtime. I would like to see a task killer that shows you where the memory you will save & exactly where it comes from. I have lost so many files & pictures because of these clean up storage apps to know this is not the App you want to mess with. If you can't find what I mentioned up top, it's because it does not exist... Sorry. DEVELOPERS PLEASE LOOK IN TO THIS!
