Great update. Thank you. I had got behind with keywords and now I can grab 5 spare minutes on the phone or tablet without having to set up the laptop. Another request: is it possible to have a masterlist of the keywords we use to keep consistent. Previously used KW come up on the desktop version but not on app. SmugMug is a great product and well worth the subscription (even with a horrible exchange rate :)

Editing to add that I have had no problem. Love Smugmug!.... SmugMug app keeps opening up by itself and playing videos. It happens when I am charging my phone. I sent a message to SmugMug but haven't heard back from them. What happened? SmugMug told me I had screensaver set to open while my phone is docked. I didn't even know I had that! I finally figured it out. Thank you SmugMug!

I intended to use this app to organise my SmugMug photos in spare moments when not at a PC. Unfortunately this is not possible. You cannot even edit keywords, captions or titles, let alone organise galleries. As a viewer, it is fine; however, it falls a long way short of what it could be, and what rival's apps do (eg Flickr). Edited to add : another star added as it is now possible to amend at least titles and captions, but not the rest. Edited Again: Another star - keywords now editable!

absolutely horrible. smugmug forces you to use their app to download your photos, instead of just letting you download directly to your device like on a desktop, and once you've downloaded your photos, you can't access them with your phone's file viewer.

Since the last major update the uploader has sucked. Frequently hangs during the first photo and never errors or completes, just hangs. Have to open the app in order to kick the uploader to go. Also uploads are no longer in order selected.

This app has been steadily improved over the years and is now a pretty great way to interface with your SmugMug galleries. The lossless photo backup is superior to the default lossy backup Google Photos uses and it is pretty great to be able to quickly pull up and share old memories whenever you want.

The app has clean interface and can be used to upload and download images from the galleries. However during the upload, it doesn't skip duplicates unlike the website. It create duplicates which is annoying. Options for more customisation is welcome. Need features like the website version.

It's the best way for me to take my photos with me to show friends and clients. I especially love that it automatically syncs new photos, so I can show them fast even without a net connection. One caveat: for the life of me, I can't figure out how to sort albums within a folder! Some show up in reverse chronological order while others are the opposite direction. There's no way to change this.
