My experience with Cex.io onboarding was very smooth and convenient. I knew the verification part takes time, but the overall process was much faster as compared to other competitors. I also liked their idea of categorizing their customers in different segments and having different requirements depending on the segment. The app by design works well and is easy to navigate. Customer support takes to get ahold of due to time difference. And even though they have offices in the USA- the purchases are run through London which then charges me another fee for foreign currency exchange. Fees are more expensive than other trading sites but there is almost no delay from purchase to being able to move to my blockchain wallet.

Love the app but when it doesn't work may the odds be ever in your favor. They have a good help center but if there is an issue that you may be having the bot can't help with and there is no agent available, your basically lost in the water. Recently the mobile app was down for a few days and the status page didn't say anything about it until people started leaving low reviews in the app store. So yea they really do need to do something about making there help center work when it counts.

The app needs a lot of information to approve the application, the same as a bank. But it's an efficient & quick process. I like that it can use the phone camera to scan items required. It's slick & easy to use. The buy/sell feature has a £1.52 for £100 commission that's visible as part of the transaction but there's a higher hidden commission that's near £10. If this was more visible & the app allowed me to default the Exchange & Trade Pro to pounds/£ then the app would be a 5* for me.

This company is extremely unethical and misleading with their False advertisement. When purchasing bitcoins using Fiat currency, it CLEARLY states the fee that it charges and how much my total charge is. After many transactions, it seemed weird that I only received less than what I should have according to their "checkout summary" page for the lack of a better term. It clearly states the 2.99% fee when you are making the payment. However, they had a hidden fee of 7% in addition to the 2.99%!!!

At first I trusted cex.io but they lock down my account and did allow me to withdraw my funds and also your asking for some personal information to unfreeze my account I don't feel safe using cex.io again and in the future I won't let my business partner use this app anymore. Sorry to say but cex.io just lost a good customer

It is a bit complex reviewing an app you are yet to get very familiar with; none the less, I think CEX.IO is promising to be a very fast platform given the speed with which it loads and executes connectivity across platforms and other media. I am impressed by the easy and fluid accessibility, hoping that it will not translate to vulnerability as well.

This app is a pain, everything takes for ever to do. Sometimes you have to log in through the browser to get things completed. I'm sticking with coinbase. Update: Although some things have to be done online, what I had trouble with was on the app itself. It would freeze at times when I had to deposit money. It would get so annoying I would just log into cex.io from the browser and do it from there.
