This is the best app blocker I've found for Android. Works well, and has enough options that I was able to pretty much configure it to work exactly as I wanted. For example, you can block apps based on total usage time in the day, or based on a schedule, etc. And then you can choose different types of blocking - simply for an hour, or for the rest of the day, etc.

One of the most useful apps I've ever had. If you could please add a feature where when you click on select apps (e.g. IG), you'll get a pop-up asking you how long you want to be on the app and how long you wanna be locked out for (with a quick "default" lock option/button available). This would be an amazing addition, as oftentimes I want to be in an app much shorter/longer than usual. Being able to set the times on the fly for certain apps would be a game changer! Great app, though! I love it!

This is the only reliable android locking app out there. I tried several others which had major holes. For example AppLock has lock screen pauses that allow the user to disable it. The author has gone to great lengths to make sure the app works across phone models with detailed instructions. Also is very responsive to messages. The effort put into the reliability and UI of this app shows. Many thanks.

This app is fantastic! And the additional options available with paying for premium are well worth it in my opinion. The lockouts are such a helpful reminder of just how much time I've been spending scrolling or playing, they help me refocus on what's important. And the ability to lock a lot of apps at certain times has definitely increased my likelihood of getting to bed at a decent time, which has been so helpful, especially as the night goes on, my willpower wanes if left to monitor myself.

Works great! The only feature I'd like to see is a 'lock in x minutes' quick add. I know you can do the scheduled lock but it's a bit annoying to have to change the times of start and end every time I want to have a lock start later in general as opposed to a specific block of time. So, it would be cool if there was a button to the effect of 'lock for 30 min (this part could be editable, but wouldn't need to be set every time) in 5 minutes.

I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. It's almost perfect. Simple to understand, does exactly what it said it would do. Highly recommended. My own issue is you have four choices when locking down an app as an example. Screen time of app / total screen time / X number of times app opened / or unlocked x times. Each of this is a single choice. If you want to lock out both time and openings you need to create two separate entries. I get it, you want people to use up the limited number of free rules and buy the app. Nonetheless, having an OR function here would be nice. I bought the app, I'm happy. Just wish it was easier to manage rule sets, especially for the paid version.

I've tried a few Usage Limit apps, including free and open source ones. I keep coming back to Lock Me Out, because it's the most intuitive and customisable... Perhaps I'm just accustomed to it. Though I'm yet to find another app with ALL features, e.g. limits within a set interval (not just daily), excluding the time in an app entirely from the total screen time, etc. Also, apps like this need constant updates, so the price IMO is fair.. it won't be updated if the devs don't have an income.

There are quite a few of these apps available but this is the best one I have used. Its very flexible - it's easy to configure to fit your personal needs or situation. It's also very robust - never seem to have any issues with it where some apps like this can be temperamental. Also, the dev(s) are VERY responsive. I've emailed on two different occasions and both times heard back within a couple of hours.

Exactly what I've been looking for. Free version just locks you out of the phone for specified amount of time but the paid version (3.99) allows you to specify which apps you want to be locked out of, which is what I wanted. I dont regret paying, I think I will be using this app a lot. Really helpful for getting things done when you keep getting distracted.
