There is a serious bug that may force legal action if not rectified. When I renewed my subscription on laptop it asked me to download and install. I installed but the old copy of software remained and that warns and scares me by saying "your subscription is expired " why your product does not update already installed copy when I renew my subscription? This is extremely disappointing.

It's good other then the VPN keeps resetting it's self at random. That or it's off and I have to turn it back on. I'm on 1 network 99% of the day and don't move more then 20ft in any direction. Oh! And I do have auto connect set to All the time. Still having this issue. Does the same thing on all my laptops too. Settings are all set correctly. If this keeps up after contacting support, as I was asked to, I'm looking for another security suite.

This app is a joke! The VPN always disconnects on me, and it keeps doing so. This should NOT be happening considering how much I am paying for this service! I'm thinking of switching to Norton instead!

Have been a customer of McAfee for quite sometime. Currently my mobile mcafee continues to disconnect and turn off time after time. How do I correct this? I prefer to keep my subscription with McAfee, this is annoying and happens all the time. Some help please!!!! Thank you

Really not cool to pay for a service that constantly logs me out everytime it updates. VPN hasn't worked right in over a year. It logs off my laptop and other phone all the time. At one point I was unknowingly unprotected for almost 6 months!! What good is that?!? I think when my time is up I will switch to someone better.

Updated review: originally 1 star. It's been all good for a while now - the disconnection problem sorted itself. Fairly unobtrusive, gets on & scans stuff.

I don't use this. I thought download it to my phone would stop the harassing notifications every 2 minutes. The app is probably useless just like the rest of the apps like this. I'm going to now see if there's anything I can do to stop seeing notifications from the site and then I'll delete it.

I HAVE HAD ENOUGH, I got the 5 year sub in 2018 everything worked fine, but since last year Safe Search and VPN keeps turning off constantly, every 3 to 5mins, which during the last 8 months have been very frustrating, so i searched Google for help, only to find vague or technical theories, so I looked in settings myself and found an recommended auto reconnect setting, since then VPN & SS last 2 or 3hrs, also app keeps signing me out every month, but 2day won't let me sign in, so cancelling sub.

I understand change is inevitable, but McAfee seems determined to ruin tbeir software. The app looks like a game, previous options no longer exist. Their software is fragmented, not intuitive. Forget about timely tech support, tbey call when they feel like it, unable to schedule. Frustration, learning to hate McAfee.
