Great app, bought the full version recently to show support. The additional features are very useful and are completely worth the tiny sum of money you pay for them. App works great (on oppo reno 5) even without advanced session detection, with no issues connecting to spotify or apple music. You can have different profiles for different bluetooth devices which is just perfect. A must have for anyone who enjoys listening to music, completely headache free. Thank you!

The app is often killed itself, either the notification, or the app itself after hours of use. And also even after i reopen the app and the button turned on but it seems that the app doesnt working at all so i need to force close and open it again to make it usable again. The "legacy mode" not always worked, it only works for certain apps, and sometime works universally idk why. I hope you understand that and fix the bug since i can't elaborate more.

I will start of saying this is a great concept with a clean & simple UI. Unfortunately I was hardly able to get it to work on my pixel paired with my sony Bluetooth headphones. Spotify would recognise the app but playback or actually "sound" would stop with an error "wavelet was unable to initiate visualiser effects". The only way forward was to force close wavelet. Reinitiating wavelet & playing with the AutoEQ toggle would work but any further interaction with Spotify would result in the error

After looking at a few other apps I settled on this one. It's a bit more expensive but at least once paid for there are no annoying adds. I'm certainly not disappointed or sad that I paid the money. It works well and auto-launches on my Android 10 when using Spotify and it is now the default (automagically) when going to Spotify's EQ function - Wavelet comes up. Doesn't launch by default with Poweramp which is great, because Poweramp's EQ is fantastic. Somehow I am still not getting the same sound quality out of Spotify (subscribed/high quality) + Wavelet as I am through Poweramp. It's always less bright & crisp somehow although I'm not blaming that entirely on Wavelet. Would be nice if I could somehow fix this through Wavelet more successfully though. Three things missing that would have given it 5 stars for me: 1. It is missing multiple custom preset options (currently just one) 2. it would benefit from a more powerful pre-amp or volume booster of some sort. 3. There needs to be an option to disable it so that users can choose not to have it automatically become the default for other music apps. As it is, it always sits in the background and even when it is force closed Wavelet opens back up when Spotify is launched. If that was the behaviour with Poweramp (and luckily it is not!) then I would probably uninstall it. So, c'mon dev. give us those extra functions to take it from 'really good' to 'blow-my-mind awesome'

AWESOME. This really does bring high quality and consistency across many pairs of headphones/earbuds. Huge thanks to Jaakko for his monumental work on the AutoEQ library. It'd be nice to see the Sennheiser CX6.00BT added! Apart from that, there are a few bugs to fix up with the app. Under certain conditions the AutoEQ switch only starts working if you turn it on and off twice, not sure why. Legacy mode doesn't seem to work with anything. But I'm very happy with the app overall.

Great app and excellent graphic EQ integration with the AutoEQ project! Really a godsend for unrooted devices. Just reporting a small bug: when headphones are disconnected and then reconnected, the AutoEQ equalization doesn't work anymore unless it's toggled off and on again. After headphone reconnect, the Wavelet app shows AutoEQ as "enabled" but it's not actually equalizing until it's toggled off and on. This is with Google Play Music on a Google Pixel XL running stock Android 10

Great app. Very nice that the eq's are free. I would use the auto eq to balance out the frequency response, then boost the bass beacause I'm just looking for some fun. Works very well in this case. I expected quite a bit of distortion if I pushed it too hard (considering it's third party, and forcing other hardware to do what it's maybe not supposed to handle), but that was not the case. I only heard distortion once, on a certain note, in a certain song. Basically, it might as well not have happened. At first sad that it couldn't chance the eq didn't work on youtube, but legacy mode fixed that. Alltogether, great app. It does it's best in the framework it has. I'd encourage people to try it out, it's free.

Fantastic app. Worth it to buy the full version for the bass tuner alone. Makes the stereo in my 2013 Prius with stock speakers sound like it has a sub. Worth it. UPDATE: I reduced my review to four stars. After purchasing the full version and enjoying all of its options, I have discovered that it routinely launches the free version with all of the features that I've purchased disabled. I am only able to restore it back to it s full functionality by initiating a force stop and relaunching.

Easily the best EQ app I've tried over the past decade. Definitely the most polished, too. I didn't expect it to, but the included preset for my Master & Dynamic earbuds made them sound even better - much better bass control with it enabled. It's also been good for adjusting the sound of my terrible car speakers to make them somewhat listenable.
