Looks good. You can use a script to launch this when gps turned on. I use cameralert and use it to start this app. Although since this is a service, why not make the service boot up to full power when user turns on gps! Real (known) GPS problem with note 3 on kit Kat. Hope this may fix/minimise the issue.

THANK YOU!!! I used to wondering why the GPS on my high-end Nexus 4 work so slow while my little sister's low-end android phone only need 3-5 seconds to fix. Threw this question on many forums and can't get any right answer and then I accidentally find this!!! Suddenly realize that my sis's phone GPS is always active all the time. Nexus 4 only activate it's GPS when we open an app that need it to be activated. Anyway, what's the difference of the 3 modes? And What's that wake lock? Please explain more.

I have tried many gps fixers in the past, but this one beats them all—and incredibly, it's free! My Samsung Galaxy S used to take about 2 minutes to get a fix and it was only accurate to 50m. Now it locks on in less than 5 seconds and it's accurate to 15m. I cannot thank TisinaDev enough for this amazing app.
