A lot of great elements (I enjoyed that level of difficulty for the puzzles), however I do agree that the instructions for some were not sufficient to understand what the end goal was (like the latch puzzle). Consider crowdsourcing editing of the English dialogue/instructions to your player base - I think that would help with both the clarity of directions and some of the odd wording in dialogue. Also, some objects were very hard to find and I wish they had been just a bit less hidden.

I must say that although the design style may not be the best out there, the game itself is probably the best in the point and click puzzle genre. If you like this kind of game and just like me, can't handle horror ones just give it a try :) The best part of it is that the main game is free (the hints and the extra story are paid, but they gotta pay them bills right?), and doesn't have those annoying ads popping up every few minutes. Definitely worth a try :)

Ok, I've done all the games to this point. This one has too many games and the puzzle with the 4 beams did me in. I don't do speed games. This one was so frustrating and in order to skip it cost too much.

So excited to see another installment of these amazing series! The Lost Lands series are the perfect point and click game. I love the puzzles and I actually appreciate the fact that in this one, you can't just pick up everything you see unless you need it for part of the game or a puzzle. I understand it would need more attention to the locations and would be hard to keep track if you play sporadically, but I think it makes more logical sense and pushes me to think harder to solve the puzzles.

Love all their games. If I could change one thing it would be the button setups. I would have the "go back" button and map separate. It's too close to the hint button. And if moving too quickly you can hit the hint button accidentally

Just as enjoyable as the others in the Lost Lands series. Although I found the clues more abstract than in their other games, I didn't have any glitches (as others have mentioned in reviews) It's a lovely game and completely free. Thanks Devs..

Definitely the black sheep of the series. I've enjoyed the series (most of them rate 4 stars) but this one is bad. Pixel-hunting, stilted/unnatural language, the inability to pick up items you know you'll need, repetitive grind, puzzles that can't be solved without knowing precisely how the authors think, the game's flow isn't smooth. All around, this one just isn't any good. It's bad enough that I find myself hoping the series is done before they ruin it any further.

An utter disappointment. Not being able to pick up items until you need them ruined the entire game. Whoever came up with this idea is a sadist! It's too frustrating to even get through 1/4 of the game, and I gave up. *Please* release a different version! I've played every other 5-BN title, and am shocked they released something so awful. It's absolutely unplayable without constantly switching back and forth to a walkthrough.

I love the very beautifully illustrated Lost Lands series - after starting with this 8th part I played the rest. The set are a complete story arc, while each game is also a self-contained tale. The main protagonist is much older when this 8th tale is reached - I liked the family story arc and older character alongsidde the fantasy elements. There are plenty of varied characters alongside and you play a different character in the in bonus chapter. The puzzles are varied.

Okay game for most of it until the very end. There's a lot of random clicking to find anything instead of thoughtful design, and the puzzles are bland and repetitive. The end of the game ruined it for me completely, with a series of timed puzzles that seemed designed to try and force you to pay to skip them. Inexcusably bad.

I really like the games in this series, graphics, music, sound effects, everything is perfect The story is fun and interesting. Most of the problem-solving items make sense. Mini games are not too difficult. Making it a game that can be played to relax, not stress, very fun. Thanks to the developers team for creating this fun game and I will definitely wait for the next sequel.

I thought the low rating I gave this one may have been because I started with it. After going back and playing 1 thru 7(with 5 start reviews on all), I have to leave it the same. The puzzles don't give any direction. There is a gate at the very beginning that has a lock puzzle. The instructions read Open the bolt of the lock by moving the latches. I need a little more detail. Move them where? How do I move them? I am not sure what to do with this version. I may skip this one and move on to 9.

These series of games just keeps getting better and better. Harder and harder though which can be a bit of a pain with some puzzles. But you can get hints by watching adverts so can make it through the game still. Highly recommend. The graphics are amazing with this one.

Amazing as always, but presenting a little problem with puzzles in cellphone that are really difficult to solve. It seems by Susan's age this is probably her last adventure, its sad, was a good series so far. Thanks for the adventures
