This mobile version of Sonic The Hedgehog to is a must have for any Sonic fan. The aditiob of being able save after every act, Hidden Palace Zone, a wider field of veiw, Tails being less annoying in Special Stages, the "Knuckles In" mode, Tails being able to fly/swim/pick up Sonic, and the ability to restart Special Stages are amazing! This is the first version of Sonic 2 i've beaten abd is the best version of the game hands down.

I used to think the old sonic games were something I'd never enjoy as like the newer ones (or at least the S.A. ones), but now that I'm giving it another try, I realized it is fun and isn't as difficult as I remember it to be. I guess aging has made me a better/more patient player. Anyway, it's a good game and as a long as you take your time exploring and getting a high score, you'll start having fun. By the way, I haven't had any troubles with ads and glitches so far and I have made it to act3.

I installed this game before, and I really loved this remaster! It's a great game made even better with so many new features packed in! However, the game has full screen ads after every level, so I would suggest limiting them to after game overs or about 1-5 minutes of gameplay before the player quits. Other than that, fantastic remake that really deserves console and PC ports! Good job, Taxman and Stealth!

It's a fantastic adaptation of the game and I would give it 5 stars if not for: - Scrap Brain zone act 2 is broken and loops back to the start of the level -- is this by design? It doesn't allow me to finish the game! - Even though I purchased the game I keep getting one add every time I open the app - I need to be online to play the game - come on man this would be amazing during long plane trips!

I think I found a bug related to the Razer Kishi V2. Whenever I press the B button on the Kishi V2, the pause menu will be displayed. But this is not the issue. The issue is that even if I select to continue the game instead of continuing, the game will switch back to the level, but then immediately switch back to the pause menu, making the game unplayable. The only way around this is to completely close the game by swiping it off the screen from the list of apps and restarting the app.

Buggy in every version after 3.7.1! You need to fix this! It does not work with with any Bluetooth controllers if you update the game past version 3.7.1! I had to find a website that keeps old copies of games. Then I had to rest very vertion until I found that vertion 3.7.1 was the newest version that still worked with Bluetooth controllers. Then save 3.7.1 vertion of the APK file on my phone. When this games auto updates I have to reinstall the old version and lose all my game saves!

I had a great time playing this game. My hat is off to the developers who managed to preserve, port, and deploy this game for Android and iOS. However, though this feat is amazing, I couldn't keep it installed because I couldn't figure out how to overcome the Spring Zone Act 3 "Eggman Death Bug", where Sonic dies right after running off the screen. I tried everything I could...This having been said, I installed Sonic 2 and I haven't encountered the problem, another amazing feat. Thanks!

Great presentation. I love the high resolution, the widescreen aspect ratio (that fills up my entire Galaxy S22 Ultra display!), the quality of life improvements (including saves and spin dash) and the extras (including Tails and Knuckles as playable characters). Just beware that if you have a 120 Hz display with adaptive refresh, you might notice some stutter. I switched to 60 Hz, and now the game runs smooth as butter.

Good port of a classic game, but I find the position of the controls isn't very ergonomic. When I hold my phone in landscape orientation, my thumbs naturally go to the top corners of the screen - this must be fairly common (see position of controls on handhelds like Nintendo Switch) and it's frustrating that whilst the position can be adjusted, movement is limited to the lower quadrants.
