Edit: after 3 years of playing nearly every day, I cant rank up passed 10, and that's with the occasional purchase. The updates have been great and the game gets better each time....but i feel like if you want to play competitively dont waste your time unless you're willing to spend thousands of dollars. It is p2w but you can still enjoy it without paying.

Disappointing. I downloaded the game for the bolts puzzles. Once they're done, they're done. The fighting wasn't the reason I got the game and now that's all there is. Uninstalling.

If you think this is a game about stick figures and your math ability, then steel yourself for disappointment. The stick figure component of the game is about 10% of the actual game play, and then it dries up completely after about .01% of the long game play mechanics. If this is a problem for you then don't download. 99.99% of the game play is character acquisition that requires patience and perseverance. TO A POINT! There will come a time where the odds of winning without paying are nill.

A good game that is nothing like the adverts. All about strategy and collecting cards to create parties to use in various battle modes. Lots of different game modes (some unlocked as you progress) and plenty to do for free. If you want to progress quickly or get to the very top money will be required, but there is still plenty to do for free and if you are patient you will get far. Been playing for over two years and still play daily.

I downloaded this game because I wanted to play the black hole minigame. After I beat that part, the icon to play it has disappeared and all that remains is the main part of the game, which is the card game. I like the card game, but it's not fun enough to keep me playing it long term. In the end I uninstalled. It doesnt make sense to advertise the black hole minigame then remove it once it's complete. I would have continued to play had there been more black hole levels.

I've been playing for a while and at this point the game is really just a grind session, unless you have loads of money to spend you won't really progress to fast. And if your not using the phantom warlord then you'll go against him and 9 times out of 10 he will win.

Have been playing this game almost 2 years now, but I couldn't get pass through league 14, I've been trying many things for about 4 months, boost my heroes in hoping that I might get through, but everytime I boost my heroes it seems the enemies are also boosted. This is my limit I guess, so I'm uninstalling it. Anyway great game.
