It was worth it in the end. I bought the game and I don't think it's overpriced (as some stupid people here with high sense of entitlement think). The story is weird. It throws you in deep waters very quickly. I didn't know what was going on at first but when you wait it through you get the hang of it eventually. It's probably one of the best game from Cyog. I wish it was longer.

I bought this game awhile ago and haven't played it in a while. Recently I decided to reconnect with the game but to my surprise it told me that I had to buy it again. I am slightly aggravated because even though it didn't cost a lot it was still a waste of money to have only played it once. I don't know if if this is a technical problem or what. I have my purchase history and would really like this to be fixed because it was an enjoyable game. If not I sadly won't be buying any more of your games

I love Max Gladstone's novels, so I was extremely excited when I found he'd written a choose-your-own-adventure game in the same universe. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. I've played it through at least half a dozen times, and the variety of experiences is tremendous. A lot of games - especially text-based - don't have a fraction of the replay value. I've enjoyed several other games from this publisher, but Max Gladstone makes this one my absolute favorite.
