The enjoyment for is in its simplicity. The game is perfect for playing on breaks or just to unwind after a long day. It's fun and you don't have to pay to play. I love that you can back up your progress and transfer to a new cell if necessary.

Buggy. The skill gestures wont work therefore i cant activate any skill Edit: oh. It works. Thanks for the quick reply Im just confused that you can slash with a sword but cant stab with it. Maybe a colored text or something should help next time.. pretty good game so far

Grim Tides is a relaxing and interesting RPG in a DnD-like style. It has a good variety of meaningful choices that dont feel like the game gets impossible with the wrong decision. You can develop a character arc and with every new start you can develop a new character, be it a freelancer, who slashes his way through enemies, a sage, searching for wisdom or a rogue, plundering and pillaging what he can, all in the search of personal freedom. A fun experience with little ads :)

Dont mind me just eating popcorn while watching the 1-2 star comments on the reviews and the dev responding afterwarss. but other than that it's a nice game to kill time and apart from the ads (which I'm used to it thanks to "freemium" apps) everything is in place for you in game to improvise adapt and overcome. A 5/5 ⭐ rating for me. Edit: Whoops an honest mistake on my part since I wrote this during the late evenings

I wish more mobile games were like this one. Character builds, turn based combat with just enough strategy, good story, and the perfect amount of resource management. Love the overall aesthetic and UI as well, even moreso for Grim Quest.

Old RPG for idle gaming, interesting story which keeps you on playing non-stop. Good game mechanics and character gear-ups which could help you proceed with the game. The items have their own stories and I hope that this game could flourish even more. (tip for players: create a large dungeon)

I've loved this game so far after downloading today! But... I had a very infuriating experience just now where I was literally stuck in a dungeon. I explored every tile, and there was no exit. I couldn't swipe, so there was no unseen part of the map. This lead to literally 13 ambushes and I died twice and didn't get anything but wasted resources. I'm very upset and will be taking a break from the game because of this. Other than that, it's been super fun though! Just plz fix this

Best RPG game found on here to date. Not only is it free, but the ads are OPTIONAL (you choose to watch a 30 second video every once in a while for some gold) NO POPUPS!! GREAT GAME.

1) can't find option to change battle type from 1 per turn to 2 per turn, only way to do it is start again. Why?? 2) 1000 gold stash expansion but no confirmation - easy waste of 1000 gold for incorrect tap. 3) battle starts while still trying to move to next tile, results in tapping the battle screen before the baddies even fully appear and a turn is wasted. 4) black message screen on open blocks view of the buttons so when you try to cancel the message you open up options or something else.
