Repetitive, worst part is the first 2 or 3 ennemies, before we can buy any upgrades there's not much to do. Great visual / animation, but the character design of the ultimate enemy is really boring, you could have went a bit crazier... I still not regret my purchase, but don't see any reason to go for the extension.

It's a decent enough game. However, the newest additions to the game were promising until I got to the acrobat, it's deck exclusive isn't actually exclusive to it, as the monk also has a wild card and it's special feature is underwhelming. Finally, it's queen effect is rendered useless more often than not, making it a waste to even unlock. Where the sorcerer was fresh and fun the acrobat feels like a waste of time.

I really love what this game is trying to do, but I'm too often left with very little agency. It's very rare for me to have a choice of moves I can make with distinct consequences, so it moreso feels like the game could easily just play itself with me as an observer. I'm curious to see if the other decks address this railroading issue but not curious enough to pay.

Genuinely one of the most fun phone games I've played in a while. It has fun dialogue from the characters, the art is amazing, the theme is really enjoyable, the gameplay is a fun spin on sequential solitaire, the restart-when-you-die mechanic isn't frustrating like a lot of other games can make it, and i could go on. On top of all that it's not overrun with ads and it doesn't make you pay for power ups or in game currency to win your matches!

I could get into this game if it were set up differently. Concept is so cool! But, coins are so hard to get. It's difficult to set up for the final few fights. I have an abundance of gems (are they called gems?) but nothing to spend them on. Paid to unlock, but I'm unsure what I unlocked as there were no ads to begin with. Perhaps make old items and spells sellable so we can get the higher priced items? It's hard enough to beat on normal.. Forget about epic.

Extremely RNG reliant. The game often puts you in unwinnable situations, in which you're forced to lose even if you're playing perfectly. A lot of gameplay mechanics (stuns, armored or frozen cards) also often make the game extremely tedious when combined with the completely random card draws (which can often keep giving you completely useless cards for many turns in a row) by forcing you to wait for several turns until you can do basically anything.

Fantastic take on a card battler, fun gameplay with lots of replay value. Main thing stopping me from rating it 5 stars is it absolutely DRAINS my battery, like I'm talking 30% of battery usage with 1 hour of gameplay. Didn't have that issue on my last phone as far as I remember, currently on a Z-Fold 4. Hopefully this issue gets resolved and I'll change my review.

This is a fun game, but there is serious issues when playing with the later decks. Just by its very nature, solitaire is a game where the games are not always winnable, and the power-ups are supposed to even the odds in this game. The problem here is the power-ups available to you are randomized, and the rogue-like structure provides a very long-winded way to find out you wasted a lot of time on an unwinnable chain of games. Game needs more content, a skill tree, and to respect players' time.

Contrary to a lot of the more recent reviews, Solitarica has a lot of great strategy to discover. Beating the game requires understanding and strategizing around the metagame as well as thinking tactically against individual enemies. Each class is a new rewarding puzzle to figure out. The biggest problem with the game is that it lacks replayability; once you "solve" a class there isn't much reason to play them again. That said, there are a lot of classes and it's well worth the price.
