Ads after every game is unbearable. Less responsive too compare to the previous version, which was a simple and perfect app. With the newly added ability to watch an ad to prolong the game time, is probably the worst design decision. Forcing someone to watch an ad or play at a disadvantage is just downright bad. What a downfall to once a great game.

2020 Edit: The app automatically deleted the wonderful original version of Word Crack and changed it to slowAWFUL revised version where you lost ALL the tokens you'd earned and ALL your contacts are gone. ZERO STARS!!! I would have paid to keep the original version if offered before the upgrade, but of course they gave NO NOTICE WHATSOEVER. 2014: Love this game! The finger swipe spelling makes it super easy and fast to make words. I've only been playing a day and I'm totally addicted!

(Read on for an update) I've been playing "Boggle" for 20+ years & I LOVE this game/app. Playing against others is FUN!! Update; after an update, the game has become a cartoonish piece of garbage. After the update happened, it crashed repeatedly, the little characters make it look like a joke, and the ads got in the way of enjoying the game for what it was. Went from 5-star Love to lower than 0-star Loathing in a matter of seconds. Game has been deleted.

I loved the previous version. It wasn't very slow and complicated and you can practice on your own as well. I don't understand why they changed it and made it so slow. With each screen, it loads and I'm not sure what kind of internet it ideally requires as it always tells me that my internet is not working while it is, and i have a very good bandwidth, i don't see this problem with other apps. Challenges section doesn't go anywhere with you finish it. Worst thing: where is the chat option?

I like the power-ups and the fact that they added challenges. What stinks the fact I blew through the first set of challenges in about 30 minutes, and am waiting on new ones. Also I have had to play the same person repeatedly because every time I try to start a new game I don't get paired up with an opponent. Furthermore it won't let me start any other games! Wish I didn't have to just play rematches with the same person. The old version of the game would let you start multiple games.

Like everyone else, I hate the new version. You've ruined a fun game with the unnecessary children's graphics and ads after every round. I would put up with an occasional ad but three ads per match is ridiculous. You've ruined the word input, now it glitches and can't keep up with fast players. I'll check back in a couple weeks, if it hasn't gone back to the old version I will be uninstalling. Hopefully you'll listen to all the feedback you're getting and unbreak the great game you have ruined.

Been playing this game for years, but this new update is awful. It's not user friendly, the graphics are ridiculous and distracting, and its glitchy. Some of the games I've started disappear and gameplay keeps freezing and not keeping up. This used to be fun and relaxing, but like everyone else I think I'm going to have to uninstall if this is the version we're going to be stuck with. I'll check back in a few weeks and then I'm gone.

Your updated new version is terrible. After uninstalling and reinstalling several times, it is not allowng me to find friend I'd been playing for years. Could you go back to original version, please. Update left me no choice but to delete game. After playing new version with some difficulty, game freezes after one game. You should really consider going back to original version. It was great. I'm left with no choice but to delete game.

The forced update to version 2 ruined everything and there wasn't even a notification. My original icon disappeared I had to go to the app store to figure out what happened. Gameplay is now sketchy, all my coins earned over several years disappeared, and the app freezes after every round. Sad when something that was perfect gets changed so dramatically. Maybe I'll check back to see if version 1 gets restored otherwise I guess this is the end of word crack for me.
