Witchfire: Unlocking the Rotweaver

The Rotweaver is a formidable weapon waiting for players to unlock within the depths of the Wailing Tower in Witchfire. However, acquiring this powerful tool requires navigating through several challenging floors filled with foes and debuffs. Follow this step-by-step guide to secure the Rotweaver for your arsenal.

Wailing Tower Guide in Witchfire

Your mission to unlock the Rotweaver involves descending to the tower’s final floor. Here’s what you can anticipate at each level:

Wailing Tower Level 1

Begin your descent by carefully clearing out all enemies in your path. Once the area is secured, a Corrupted Arcana will manifest. Interact with this arcana to open the door leading to the next level.

Keep in mind that these Corrupted Arcanas will inflict debuffs on your character, so proceed with caution.

Wailing Tower Level 2

The second level tests your speed in combat. Here, your task is to activate the Scholar’s Cells by triggering three sigils.

These sigils, marked by candles, act as summoning points. When you step into a sigil, enemies will spawn, and you must defeat them to progress.

Each sigil requires you to eliminate a specific number of foes within its area before it can be activated. After completing this challenge, the second Corrupted Arcana Crystal will appear. Interact with it to move on to the third level.

Wailing Tower Level 3

Upon reaching the third floor, prepare to face multiple waves of enemies. It's crucial to manage your health carefully here, as this level introduces the Sanity debuff, making it especially perilous.

To mitigate the effects of the Sanity debuff, swiftly defeat the enemies guarding the portal to the Astral Rift. Once inside the Astral Rift, you’ll encounter even more foes. You can choose to either evade them until the timer expires or engage them if you have sufficient ammunition.

Once the timer runs out, you'll return to the main tower to continue clearing the floor. Your Sanity debuff will reset, allowing you to repeat this process until all waves are defeated. Focus on taking out the Clerics first to make your run smoother.

After surviving the waves and dealing with the Astral Rift, interact with the green crystal at the end of the level to unlock the door to the final floor.

Unlocking the Rotweaver: The Boss Floor

Upon reaching the final level of the Wailing Tower, you’ll enter the boss room. However, you don’t necessarily have to engage in combat with the boss to claim the Rotweaver.

Whether you decide to fight or not, the Rotweaver will be waiting for you on a table at the far end of the room. Simply interact with it to add this powerful weapon to your collection.
