6) Progress Tracking and Statistics: Keep tabs on your win/loss ratio, longest win streak, moon shots, average scores, and more with in-depth personal stats that help refine your strategy over time.

Playing Tips for Hearts +:

1) Pass Strategically Based on Your Hand: When passing cards, always evaluate your weakest suits and danger cards — send high hearts or the Queen of Spades away if you don’t plan to shoot the moon, or hold onto them if you’re plotting a bold move.

2) Void a Suit Early to Control Rounds: Intentionally avoiding one suit allows you to play off-suit early and dump penalty cards like hearts or the Queen — use this tactic to stay in control and dodge traps.

3) Track Which Cards Have Been Played: Keeping mental notes on which high cards are already out — especially high spades and hearts — helps you avoid risk and make smarter decisions late in a hand.

4) Play Low Cards in Early Tricks: Early rounds are the most unpredictable, so play low to stay safe while opponents lead — this helps you dodge taking points when players start dumping hearts later.

5) Avoid Leading with Danger Cards: Never lead a trick with a Queen of Spades, Ace of Hearts, or other penalty-prone cards unless you’re forcing an opponent to make a tough decision.

6) Save High Cards to Block Moon Shots: If you suspect an opponent is trying to shoot the moon, don’t dump penalty cards early — hold your high-value cards to win a trick and prevent them from collecting all points.

7) Use the Queen of Spades as a Weapon: If you still have the Queen late in the hand, consider when to drop her — timing it right can completely change the leaderboard and devastate an overconfident opponent.

8) Master Card Counting for Expert Play: The more you play, the better you’ll get at remembering which suits and values are still in play — expert players use this to control the flow of the round and plan several turns ahead.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) of Hearts +:

1) Is Hearts + free to play?

A: Yes! The base game is free and includes full core functionality. There’s also a premium version that removes ads and adds cosmetic or quality-of-life upgrades.

2) Can I play Hearts + offline?

A: Absolutely. You can enjoy full games against AI opponents without an internet connection, making it perfect for travel or offline play.

3) How does scoring work in Hearts?

A: Each heart card is worth 1 point, and the Queen of Spades is worth 13. The player with the fewest points at the end of the game wins — the goal is to avoid collecting points during each round.

4) What is “Shooting the Moon”?

A: It’s when you collect all the hearts and the Queen of Spades in a single round. If successful, you either subtract 26 points from your score or add 26 points to all opponents — a risky but powerful strategy.

5) Is there a ranking system in multiplayer?

A: Yes, the game includes ranked matches where wins, moon shots, and consistent play affect your standing against global opponents.

6) Can I customize the rules or appearance?

A: Yes. You can tweak passing styles, score limits, visual themes, and even card back designs to personalize your Hearts experience exactly how you like it.

Conclusion:

Hearts + is a brilliant blend of traditional card game wisdom and modern mobile design. Whether you're a longtime fan of trick-taking games or just discovering the thrill of dodging hearts and calculating moon shots, this game delivers a sleek, challenging, and endlessly replayable experience. With flexible rules, smart AI, smooth multiplayer, and beautiful visuals, it offers something for casual players and card sharks alike. So grab your virtual hand, pass wisely, and remember — in Hearts +, every card played could be your undoing… or your perfect move.

One major flaw with this app is that it gives you more points for winning/losing against higher scored/lower scored opponents and vice versa. Playing against lower scored opponents is only easier if you have very good luck & deals, which isn't often the case here considering the app's random dealing seems to favor lower scored players. Otherwise, playing against lower rated opponents is actually harder because they don't understand how to play offensively or play for first. Please fix this!

A way to play multiplayer hearts with many options for making lobbies. You can play quite often for free and the cost for tokens is cheap (a few pennies per game). And no notification spam! The notifications are actually useful so you can go to another app while you wait for the lobby to fill. It's very hard to find apps that don't spam you. A few pennies per game I'm ok to pay just because the app doesn't feel predatory like most in the app store.

Horrible AI. Will hold Q for you, no matter the score, and then the AI will eat it instead of play it to another AI. This won't hurt you, as you can outsmart the AI easy, but it makes for a stupid game of hearts. Also, pretty much count on getting the worst hands every single hold hand. There is no random card game here, it's a total set up. Plus side, 1 ad between each hand, and they are not the annoying kind!

It's a great game. The only thing I wound change or add would be a chat option with the other players.

The game seems to deliberately target the player. It felt like I was playing with a group of people that would only target me, regardless of who was in the the lead. Also I have never player so many hands where I had the queen of spades with no other spades. Maybe multi-player would have been more fun, but single player is just an attack mode.

Used to like it, but have had to reset 10 times in a row now because I keep getting the worst imagineable hands possible. The concept of difficulty is to make sure that every hand you get puts you at a severe disadvantage qgainst the computer. Also 1 comp will take all the points while another gets perfect hands and cannot receive any. Ive lost games where i had 7 points, but 1 bot had 0, and a third broke 122.

I really like the rated mode. But when I play on my phone, vs ipad, ads keep popping up between hands. You should offer an ad-free version. Slows the game down, people get frustrated with my delay, and it doesn't seem to happen to everyone at the same time!

I know how to play hearts. So when I tell you that too many mgb of download means this app is fixed. Waaaaay too many time have I played the four, only to watch my AI opponents play a 3, then a 2 and then the queen of spades. Waaaaay too many times have three players keep taking points while one manages to avoid them. It is simply beyond coincidence. I've taken the queen waaaaay beyond statistical probability. Second or third trick. The game is fixed. Nuff said.

The gameplay is fine, but as another user noted, there is definitely a bug that allows an AI to "run out" of a suit, then play it later. For instance, having the player to the right play a heart on a spade, then drop the Queen of Spades later in the same hand. A pretty critical issue for hearts.
